Mirrimage is a secondary display that attaches to the back of your phone via magnetic suction. It uses wireless transmission to sync your phone's screen, allowing you to see your composition and expressions in real-time while using the rear camera for selfies or video recording.
Will this work with my phone? (Does it support Android?)
Yes! Mirrimage is compatible with virtually all modern smartphones, including iPhone (iOS 9.0+) and Android devices (Android 5.0+). As long as your phone supports screen mirroring or casting, you are good to go.
My phone doesn't have MagSafe. Can I still use it?
Absolutely. Every Mirrimage comes with a free adhesive magnetic ring. Simply attach the ring to the back of your phone or your favorite phone case, and you’ll get the same secure, snap-on experience as MagSafe users
Can I use this with a phone case?
Yes. If you have a MagSafe case, it snaps right on. If you use a regular case, just attach the included magnetic ring to the back of your case to ensure a strong, secure hold.
Do I need to download a confusing app?
No complex setup is required. Mirrimage connects wirelessly via your phone’s native screen mirroring function (AirPlay for iPhone, Cast/Smart View for Android). It’s plug-and-play.
Can I record in 4K 60fps? (Will it lag?)
When recording at 4K 60fps using your phone’s native camera app, your smartphone’s processor prioritizes capturing and saving large video files locally to ensure flawless final footage. Because most system resources are focused on recording, the wireless preview sent to the external display may experience slight latency.
Our Recommendation:
For the smoothest real-time monitoring, we suggest recording at 4K 30fps or 1080p 60fps. For improved stability and professional-level control, we recommend using the free Blackmagic Cam app, which significantly reduces preview latency.
Note:
Even if you notice minor preview lag at maximum settings, the actual video file saved on your phone will remain perfectly smooth and unaffected.
